James Hall At the Basement!

The Basement, 1604 8th Avenue S, Nashville, TN

grey wolf James Hall is best known as the electrically supercharged front man from the alt-rock heavy hitting the Futura Bold, the seminal post punk Pleasure Club, and the iconic Goth-tinged Mary My Hope.

But here's a little known James Hall fact: he actually grew up in Nashville. Yep, the Music City is the fertile ground that framed the portrait of the young man as an artist. He spent his musical formative years (8 - 18) soaking up all the soulful vibrations the city had to offer while his inner rock star incubated.

Now he's back for one night only to perform a solo show at The Basement (Below Grimey's New & Pre-loved Music) on Saturday, October 22 at 11:00 pm. Hall's solo shows really shine a light on what has always been his secret weapon: songwriting. Sophisticated, soulful, and honest, Hall is one of the best contemporary writers out there. Come out and see and hear your boy all grown up as the portrait of the artist in full effect.
